When the seasons begin to change, the first item of clothing I gravitate toward is denim. Great jeans are versatile, easy to style, and comfortable—or at least should be! Gone are the days when I squirm and wiggle my…
Shopping for denim can be a nightmare. You search brand upon brand only to find pairs that are too long, too short, or flatten your butt. And when you have more booty than you do waist (which, um, is how it should be! #HELLO), some even give you that stupid gap in the back. When…
Among many others, on the list of must-have items that you should have in your wardrobe, a white T-shirt will surely find its place. Its simplicity and timeless design make her one of the favorite fashion pieces of every stylist. But, even classics need a bit enhancing from time to time.
So, you shouldn’t underestimate this garment, but use it to make new fashionable outfits appropriate for various occasions. With following tips, you’ll see that a white tee can be a statement piece, depending on how will you dress it up - combining accessories and different fabrics.
Call P. Diddy, I am ready for the party... the White Party that is! White denim has always been a summer essential, but when you pair them with a trendy white blouse, you have created a chic look that is sure to turn heads.
Try not to spill on me, but nothing says summer like an all white look! I'd reserve this look for special occasions and cocktails events, but try to stay away from red wine if you can. These Joe's white distressed jeans have been my favorite purchase all summer. They are so comfortable and despite the distressed knee, the cropped leg actually dresses them up a bit. My BCBG high low blouse (sold out) was a great buy from Gilt.com, but I found some similar looks for you below.
Wearing all white is a great opportunity to show off a chic handbag in any color under the sun. To balance out the look I would recommend going with a neutral shoe if you choose a bright colored bag or a bright shoe if you have a neutral clutch. Statement jewelry can take center stage when wearing all white and I'm rocking some gorgeous gold and jeweled pieces from the unlimited jewelry subscription service, Rocksbox. The weather in New York is pretty chilly, so getting dressed is all about boots, outerwear and sweaters. For a winter escape I will be traveling to Florida for my Christmas vacation for some sunshine and relaxation. Packing is always a pain especially when you're traveling to a different climate. Even though it's not technically winter in Palm Beach, I don't want to pack strictly summer clothes for my trip. This monochromatic look has the feel of fall, but it's perfect for warm weather travels. My coated plum denim was featured in a previous post last winter, but they are still very much on trend. I paired these jeans with a light pink lace top and my favorite Stuart Weitzman's pumps. All of my mauve accented jewelry can be found at Greenwich Jewelers.
The weather this season has been so temperamental, one day it's hot and then the next it feels like fall again. That is why I love this Catherine Malandrino Anorak Jacket (similar to a parka, an anorak is a jacket with a hood). With this chic layering piece, I am prepared for any weather that spring throws at me while still looking very much in season. This bold pattern only needs simple neutrals and coordinating colors to set it off. My white jeans go perfectly with my matching beige wedges and handbag. The rings from Greenwich Jewelers pick up the blue and white from my jacket and really pop on my hand.
When I saw this Navy Draped Cape Top by Cut 25 online, I knew I had to have it! The open back detail gave just enough sex appeal to wear for a night out, but still subtle enough to wear during the day. I paired the top with this amazing Theia Statement Necklace from Greeenwich Jewelers and by wearing my favorite simple grey jeans, these studded Pour La Victoire Booties were also the highlight of my outfit. The unique Sorellina Morganite ring which compliments this look is definitely more of an investment than fashion piece. All these pieces independently make a statement, but with thoughtful styling they create one very chic look.

Snow *should be* melting soon- which means that spring is almost here. But what does spring 2015 look like for fashion? This year is all about overalls, mules, and jumpsuits. I know you may be apprehensive to rock one of these, but before you gag, check out some celebrities rocking these looks:Nothing says Spring like a pop of color, and I decided to bring color into this outfit with one of the season's hottest shoe trends for Spring - the Mule. I love these Via Spiga Dahlia heels ($240) that have pops of yellow, blue and coral, which match perfectly with my BCBG Jada Cutout Tank ($138). Anyone who knows me understands that I have a weakness for denim and you can add these Rag & Bone Distressed Jeans ($220) to my list of favorites. My earrings are from Halcyon Fair $30, a vintage online boutique styled by my friend and fellow fashionista, Maura Marziano. The store features beautifully selected pieces of clothing and stylish jewelry that you can't get anywhere else.
I found these unique pieces, which compliment each other so well, on my last shopping excursion. The Romy & Ray pullover wool poncho ($130) is from the pop up shop, Creeds Collective, a store that showcases amazing designers and brands which also donates 10% of its sales to support the Global Citizen charity efforts toward ending poverty. The bag ($110) is from a UK brand called Whistles, and is sold exclusively at Bloomingdales.
