If you follow me on Instagram, then you are well aware of my love of all things DVF! I was so excited to be invited to spend the afternoon at their Flagship store in NYC’s Meatpacking District and get the inside scoop on the new Spring 2016 collection. Diane Von Furstenburg, one of the most influential fashion designers and inventor of the iconic “wrap dress”, has been keeping women stylish since her collection first launched in 1970. Her prints are so recognizable and are seen on just about everyone in Hollywood and even our First Lady, Michelle Obama.
Fortvna, the Spring collection, in true DVF form featured gorgeous prints, light and fun wrap dresses, and some amazing separates that can be paired together to create a full spring wardrobe. The collection was inspired after the Roman goddess of luck and the subject of the first painting Von Furstenberg ever bought. Diane said with this collection, “She redefines beauty and paints her own destiny,” which the designer personifies in her own everyday life.
The DVF flagship store, which is nestled under Diane’s private residence, is inviting and allows you to truly experience all DVF has to offer. If you are in NYC, be sure to stop by and try some items on. With so many awesome pieces to choose from it was hard to not go crazy with this post. Check out my favorite looks from this collection and shop from the entire line in my link below.
