It's officially wedding season! One or more of your friends are about to say "I Do" and all you can say is, "I don't have anything to wear!" Figuring out what to wear to a wedding isn't always easy. You want to dress appropriately according to the bride's instructions, but still be comfortable enough to enjoy the ceremony, eat a meal and dance the night away. With weddings venues and styles getting more and more creative, knowing what to wear can be complicated. Here is my guide to deciphering wedding dress codes, so you can be the best dressed summer wedding guest at the party.

Spring has finally arrived, which means it’s time to put those boots in the back of your closet and schedule that pedicure. Your toes are ready to be set free and this season's hottest trends are the perfect way for them to make their debut. It's nice to throw on the stilettos for a night out or special occasion, but I find myself reaching for flats more and more. I am thrilled that the styles this season are all super casual and comfortable, yet so chic! Check out 4 spring shoe trends that are hot this season:

I didn't mean to leave you for a week without a post, but I had to take some time to recharge my batteries. If you follow me on Instagram, then you've seen photos from my trip to Montreal, a beautiful city with charming French influences. Now that I am refreshed and ready for fall, I thought this casual look would be a great transitional outfit for the season.
You can make distressed denim look pretty, with the right styling. My Joie white leather jacket is my new favorite outerwear piece. With my oatmeal colored top from Artizia, the jacket is also the perfect layering piece for a cool summer night. These white Oliver Peoples sunglasses and my necklace duo from Greenwich Jewelers adds a feminine touch to this chic outfit.

There is something about a shirt with open back detail that I can't seem to resist. I found my Wilfred t-shirt at Aritzia, the sophisticated yet fashionable boutique that is quickly becoming my new favorite store. I am also wearing some midrise classic black skinny jeans by The Castings, which I also bought there. I am wearing my favorite cut out booties, which are a fantastic way to transition your summer wardrobe to fall. You can catch me in a hip casual look like this on any given weekend. My Jamie Joseph accessories, from Greenwich Jewelers, add just the right amount of whimsy to complete my look.

As much as I love being classic and professional, there is a small part of me that can't resist the urge to just rock out from time to time. This is when I bring out the distressed jeans, graphic tee and start stacking my rings. Greenwich Jewelers styled my amazing stacked ring look (below) and I can't get enough of it! My Helmet Lang asymmetrical zip up sweater can really be a versatile light weight jacket for any occasion. Brooklyn T-Shirt Factory is a go to for graphic t-shirts, this New York based company combines cool designs with their signature style. My Rebecca Minkoff handbag from 2012 is right in trend with all the fringed accessories that are popular this season, but is a subtle way to rock the look. My advice: Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, even if only with a cool handbag or interesting jewelry.
