New Chapter and New Beginnings

This month kicked off with a few significant chapters in my life coming to a necessary close. Closure has a unique way of jump-starting the new season. It’s not just about a change in the weather but also a fresh chapter in life. Some substantial changes are on the horizon for me, and I’m genuinely excited about them. I’ll share the details in due time, so no need to fret.

This is month kicked off with a few significant chapters in my life coming to a necessary close. Closure has a unique way of jump-starting the new season. It’s not just about a change in the weather but also a fresh chapter in life. Some substantial changes are on the horizon for me, and I’m genuinely excited about them. Yesterday marked the new season of the Bad Life Choices Podcast. If you haven’t tuned into season 1, I urge you to do so. There will be new episodes dropping every Monday for the next ten weeks.

My goal is always to provide motivation and guidance along your life’s journey. I recognize that what each of us is currently dealing with, struggling with, or striving to overcome on this journey can be different. I often engage in conversations with friends and family, and I also seek inspiration from motivational podcasts when I need a little support.

This past weekend, I found myself immersed in another episode of the Mel Brooks podcast. In this particular episode, she hosted an amazing guest, and the theme revolved around the concept of “coming home to yourself.” It delved into finding ways to overcome trauma, toxicity, and challenging times to truly be in alignment with your authentic self. For most people, including myself, this entails changing the ways we’ve approached life in the past.

At the moment, there’s a list of many tasks I need to tackle, each with its own deadline. However, I know that as I cross them off one by one, I’ll feel a sense of accomplishment. I understand that completing this list brings me one step closer to achieving the goals I’ve set for myself.

I understand that many people feel apprehensive about change due to the uncertainty it brings. However, I’ve always welcomed change with open arms, excited about the possibilities it brings. So, as you transition from your vacation mindset and reflect on all the good times you’ve had this summer, I challenge you to approach this next season of your life with the same enthusiasm, positive outlook, and determination to find ways to bring joy and happiness into your life every day.

Until next week,

Sherita
