My husband and I have been trying to get out and explore more of Los Angeles. If we hear of a cool popup or event, we add it to the calendar and do our best to attend. Because it is almost Halloween, we decided to do something to celebrate the season. Having grown up in the Midwest, I am no stranger to pumpkin patches. In Michigan, we would visit a patch or orchard every fall to pick apples or grab the prettiest pumpkin right from the vine. When we arrived to partake in this festive autumn ritual, it was quite apparent that this pumpkin patch was vastly different from those in my childhood memories. Instead of pumpkin vines and apple cider, this adorable patch offered up the cutest staged scenes in all of Los Angeles, so we decided to stay and make new memories of our own.
This fun little patch had a bouncy house for the kids, a petting zoo, and the cutest pumpkin house I have ever seen. We had some friends with us who were visiting from Arizona, and their kids loved every minute of the activities. We, on the other hand, loved being able to take advantage of the Insta-worthy backdrops and capture some cute photos for the gram. My Micheal Jackson-inspired pumpkin patch look is super affordable. These cool boots by Mari A are available on Amazon for only $40, and my tank, which appropriately says, “I Have To Be Successful Because I Like Expensive Things,” is available exclusively on Busy Wife Busy Life.
All things considered, we had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed our LA pumpkin patch experience. It may not have been quite as authentic as the patches I grew up with in the Midwest, but where there are pumpkins, family, friends, and adorable sets, there is love! Happy Halloween to you and yours!
Stay fabulous,
