It’s March – which means Springtime! If you are like me, then I know you are ready to leave your bulky sweaters behind and move your wardrobe forward. The only problem is that it’s only 45 degrees outside in New York and you can’t even think about wearing all the warm weather clothing featured in the stores. So how do you embrace Spring when it still feels like winter? Here are my tips to transition your wardrobe for spring so you can stay super stylish in-between seasons.
Layering
When the weather starts to warm up, leave your coat at home. Instead, add some layers to your look to help keep you warm. Try wearing a light sweater on top of a spring blouse or button down shirt. You can also try on my favorites looks, a blazer, which will give you a polished look for spring.

Light Colored Outerwear
Since it is still cold outside, you can’t just leave your coat at home. Light color outerwear will give the feel of spring, and still keep you warm. Try a shade of pink, beige and even white to help you channel spring. When wearing light colors keep your handbag neutral- gray is a fantastic option.

Ditch those black handbags and boots, give the illusion of spring with some fun heels or sneakers. If you add a little more spring style to your look carry a colorful handbag to accent your warm clothing.
