As much as I love being classic and professional, there is a small part of me that can't resist the urge to just rock out from time to time. This is when I bring out the distressed jeans, graphic tee and start stacking my rings. Greenwich Jewelers styled my amazing stacked ring look (below) and I can't get enough of it! My Helmet Lang asymmetrical zip up sweater can really be a versatile light weight jacket for any occasion. Brooklyn T-Shirt Factory is a go to for graphic t-shirts, this New York based company combines cool designs with their signature style. My Rebecca Minkoff handbag from 2012 is right in trend with all the fringed accessories that are popular this season, but is a subtle way to rock the look. My advice: Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, even if only with a cool handbag or interesting jewelry.
I truly love Kale! I can eat it all day long, so why not feature it as the star of my morning meal. For this breakfast I decided to step out of the traditional box with Lacinato kale salad tossed in a delicious lemon and caper vinaigrette with some poached eggs and crispy pancetta. It was so yummy and I am sure you will love it too.
Spring – just the mention of the word puts a slight smile on my face. Financial review - now those words can channel a dramatically different expression. Spring has always been a great time to clean out the old and start fresh after a long winter. This renewal should extend to your financial practices as well. It is the optimal time to review your finances to ensure you are on the right track for rest of the year. Here is my Spring Financial Checklist to help keep you smiling all season long.

After being cooped up all winter, we are finally beginning to see some signs of Spring with ‘heat wave’ temperatures of 40-50 degrees F. It makes me want to open the windows and let out the cobwebs, but especially bring in the sun which I find so energizing. If you live in a sun-filled house like mine, the light can really enhance a space, but on the flip side, it can also spotlight areas that may be in need of a spruce up. When it comes to Spring cleaning, we think of changing color palettes and fabrics or clearing closets and storage spaces -- generally trading the cocoon feeling for an open, airy one.Guest Post By: Kia Dunn
Snow *should be* melting soon- which means that spring is almost here. But what does spring 2015 look like for fashion? This year is all about overalls, mules, and jumpsuits. I know you may be apprehensive to rock one of these, but before you gag, check out some celebrities rocking these looks:Nothing says Spring like a pop of color, and I decided to bring color into this outfit with one of the season's hottest shoe trends for Spring - the Mule. I love these Via Spiga Dahlia heels ($240) that have pops of yellow, blue and coral, which match perfectly with my BCBG Jada Cutout Tank ($138). Anyone who knows me understands that I have a weakness for denim and you can add these Rag & Bone Distressed Jeans ($220) to my list of favorites. My earrings are from Halcyon Fair $30, a vintage online boutique styled by my friend and fellow fashionista, Maura Marziano. The store features beautifully selected pieces of clothing and stylish jewelry that you can't get anywhere else.
I will be honest, we eat a lot of chicken in our house. It is a healthy alternative to the red meat binge we were on a few years ago. I love cooking chicken in a variety of ways, as seen in the many Chicken Recipes I have featured. There is nothing like a piece of juicy perfectly flavored chicken with crispy skin. The problem is this can be difficult to accomplish without frying your chicken in a pot of oil. I want to share with you my technique for achieving crispy skin nirvana with only 1 tablespoon of oil.
