These days I’m generally in a different city every month, meaning I have learned to pack well, even though it technically may not be considered “light.” Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been in one of my favorite towns, San Francisco. The city has pricey delicious food, impressive architecture, diverse people and some of the best wine selections you find in the country. The Bay Area generally feels like early spring/late fall all year long, therefore, jackets and boots are a wardrobe staple.
When packing for a trip you can’t bring your whole closet, so you have to plan your outfits around a few staples. These Frye combat style boots have to be one of my favorites purchases in a while. I bought these three seasons ago, but they still look amazing. In this post, I wanted to share two looks from my trip. I wore these boots and my Theory black leather jacket almost every day. A classic black and white look for lunch and coated burgundy denim for cocktails and dinner. Both of these outfits worked perfectly with my boots, and I’m sure they will be a part of my wardrobe for years to come.
Stay Fabulous!

Such a good idea! I love packing this way too. I usually go black or brown, not both. Neutrals and layers are my jam lol! Hope you had a great time in SF. LOVE it there.

That is a great tip! I never thought about the neutral vs cool tones packing method. I will definitely think about that next time. Thanks so much!
Beautiful pictures!! Love the boots.

They are my fav! Thanks
Omg I need these boots! Love your whole look.
I almost got rid of them because they are a couple of seasons old, but then I polished them and they came to life again! Holding on for 2 more seasons for sure.
