Fall is finally here, although it hasn’t really felt like it lately. I am excited to experience my first fall in Los Angeles but didn’t realize it would include temperatures well above 90. Luckily it will be cooling off just in time to enjoy some of the best fashions of the year. As designers try to find ways to stay fresh and new, a summer trend has made its way to fall’s center stage. You got it – Floral is hot this season, and you will be seeing a lot of it.
I decided to embrace this popular trend with a bold floral print dress from one of my favorite designers, Alexandre McQueen. This fuchsia McQ silk little number is perfect for any fall weather. You may take this look one step further on the “daaamn girl” scale with over the knee boots for a little warmth and a lot style. In the warmer climates, I recommend going bare leg with a bootie, stilettos or a hip lace-up flat.
One accessory you don’t want to forget is a cool pair of sunglasses. Just because summer has ended, doesn’t mean the sun isn’t shining. To make your outfit pop, try a pair with an interesting frame or lens in an unexpected color. Anyway you style this look, just make sure you carry a chic handbag and be fabulous this fall.
