I am often asked what I do to keep my mane looking so healthy and beautiful. After many years of trial and error, I have fell in love with Shea Moisture. Well the secret is out – in this post I am going to share with you some of my favorite hair care products and what I use to keep my “do” looking good!
Shea Moisture
I discovered this line of products after experiencing hair breakage due to the stress my body went thru from knee surgery. I knew that I had to find some products that would help my hair grow and return to its healthy condition. I was so shocked with the results from using Shea, not only did my hair grow but it was also thicker too.
1. I use the Raw Shea Moisture Retention Shampoo. This thick moisture rich product really penetrates my hair. You don’t have to use a lot – I just section my hair off and work it into a lather from root to end. This shampoo really prevents my hair from drying out, especially after styling.
2. The Restorative Conditioner made my hair soft and silky. I add a few pumps in each section of my hair and then comb it thru to make sure it covers every inch of my hair.
3. Smooth & Repair High Shine Glosser – with a just a few pumps of this glosser in my hands, I am able to not only smooth my hair and prevent frizz, but also nourish and maintain it’s healthy state.
Bio Ionic One Pass Flatiron
This flatiron is the best by far that I have ever purchased!! It heats up super quick and stays hot the whole time. The secret is the silicone strips that line the plates which help smooth your hair for quicker flat ironing. If you buy only one styling tool, I recommend it be this one.
WEN Finishing Creme
Wen makes a whole line of conditioning shampoos which I also use from time to time, but my favorite product is their styling creme. It is my go-to product in the winter when it is extra dry. The creamy texture smooths my hair out, tames fly-aways and helps sculpt my signature style. You only need a dime size, and it works wonders.
Have you tried any of these products? What are some of your favorites?
