Stay Passionate
How to Savor the Small Things In Life & Make Everyday Meaningful
Contribution By: Kacey Mya Bradley from  The Drifter Collective
Stay PassionateFor several years, I walked through my life like a zombie. I moaned at the endless demands made of me and stumbled to the coffee pot every morning. I flinched at the rays of sunlight shining through the window instead of embracing the warmth and opportunity of a new day. Somewhere along the way, I had lost the passion of living life. Once I realized this change, I knew I had to find my way back. Now on certain days, I still stumble to the coffee pot, but I understand that it’s not about living life to the fullest. Instead, I try to appreciate what each day offers. I honor my life, by living it passionately. This is how I have learned to stay passionate throughout my life and make everyday meaningful.

How Daylight Savings Nearly Ruined My Life
Untitled design (8) As I scrolled through March in my calendar app, I told myself I was not going to let daylight savings sneak up on me this time! Every year it’s the same story, daylight savings ends and I’m cozy in my bed rejoicing over an extra hour of sleep. Then, I suddenly feel uber productive, even before I’ve made my morning coffee. Well, the opposite happens in March, that magical hour just vanishes into thin air and we are left feeling, well, inadequate to say the least. This year was supposed to be different; I had it all planned out. I went out Friday night, instead of Saturday, (which I never do) just to avoid racing home like Cinderella, once the clock skipped an hour.

Do you feel like you could use an extra pair of hands now and then? Or perhaps an extra brain to keep track of all the things you need to get done in a single day? Modern lifestyle dictates a hectic tempo so we tend to get lost while prioritizing all the daily tasks. Luckily, technology is progressing quickly and we already have the first representatives of artificial intelligence at the convenience of our pockets. If you are looking for alternatives to Siri or Iris, here’s a list of super useful apps to help you sort things out in a flash:

5 Tips for Keeping Your Resolution All Year Long
How to Keep your resolution
Guest Post By: Allyssa Munro
In just a couple of days, the majority of the Western world will be bopping around in a drunken stupor, bingeing on luscious entrées or forcefully trying to keep their eyes open, anxiously awaiting the official sign of the New Year. There’s a steady free spirit that fills us all as we watch the crystal ball descend. While the fireworks and cheering roar around us, we can’t help but want something fresh and new for our lives. Many of us spend the proceeding weeks and even months thinking about this moment, the day when we can officially make an attempt to change our lives for the better. Most of us have already asked our coworkers and friends about their resolutions, while others spent time convincing themselves they were going to be among the few to achieve their declarations. After all, this time is different, right? (Can you hear my sarcastic tone?)

After being cooped up all winter, we are finally beginning to see some signs of Spring with ‘heat wave’ temperatures of 40-50 degrees F. It makes me want to open the windows and let out the cobwebs, but especially bring in the sun which I find so energizing. If you live in a sun-filled house like mine, the light can really enhance a space, but on the flip side, it can also spotlight areas that may be in need of a spruce up. When it comes to Spring cleaning, we think of changing color palettes and fabrics or clearing closets and storage spaces -- generally trading the cocoon feeling for an open, airy one.
